Here's a fun, easy way to prepare venison and feed your family. It's a great recipe to make with your kids helping too! As delicious as a cold leftover as it is piping hot right out of the oven:

Venison Pizza Cups

• 1 pound ground venison

• ¼ cup cracker crumbs

• 5 ounces pizza sauce

• 1 egg

• 1/3 sliced stuffed olives

• 1 cup shredded Italian cheese

• 1 small can mushrooms (drained and chopped)

• 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

• *(Bacon: if you choose to bacon-wrap them)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large bowl combine venison, cracker crumbs, egg and ½ cup pizza sauce.

Divide mixture evenly into 8 ungreased muffin cups.

Put into bottom and up the sides to form cups.

Fill cups with olives, mushrooms, onions and cheese.

Bake for 30-35 minutes until cooked through.

Meanwhile heat remaining pizza sauce and pour over meat cups.
