FWC clarifies application period for special-opportunity hunts
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) would like to clarify the dates for this year’s special-opportunity hunt application period.
Incorrect application dates were advertised in the April and May issues of Woods ‘N Water magazine and in the 2008-09 Florida Hunting Regulations handbook. The correct application period in which to apply for a fall special-opportunity hunt permit is May 1-31.
Worksheets are available from any FWC regional office or by going online to MyFWC.com/Hunting and clicking on “Limited Entry Hunts.” To apply for these hunt permits, take a worksheet to any license agent or tax collector’s office, or submit an application at MyFWC.com.
Visit the special-opportunity section by clicking on “Limited Entry Hunts” at MyFWC.com/Hunting for more information how to apply for special-opportunity hunt permits.
