Boggin' in the South

March brings a ton of muddin’ for offroad enthusiast and boggers! If you love playing in the mud, there are a numerous events to choose from this month – including at least one in your neck of the woods.

Last month, we made it to the Perry Mud Bogg at Kelly Grade (in our back yard) and joined thousands of spectators who enjoyed watching hundreds of BIG, BAD mud trucks slinging it all day on Jan. 31.

Kelly Grade has another event coming up on Saturday, April 25 (see ad in March Issue). We couldn’t make it down to Kenansville for MuddiGras on Feb. 6-8, but thanks to professional photographers Bill Pruitt and Chuck Carroll, we almost feel like we were there.

Wow! The only thing more impressive than the unbelievable trucks and unique rides was the huge crowd (estimated at over 10,000 people) and the very entertaining nightlife.

Go online (http://billpruittphotography.com) and (http://chuckcarrollphotography.smugmug.com) to check out their photos. They are fantastic! Thanks to Bret Bowen for sending us a few photos from the TGW “Monsters Eve,” “Tri Truck Challenge” and “Old School Car Crushing” at Bithlo Motorsports in late January. As we went to press, many of our friends (including the Team Creekbottom/MoreMud.com team) were headed to Doles, Ga. for the Creekbottom ATV races. We look forward to bringing you more on that next month. And now for Muddin’ in March:
