FWC staff suggests hunters check out MyFWC.com for answers to some of the most frequently asked questions they field this time of the year.

The FWC also strongly suggests that each hunter read the “Florida Hunting Handbook” and the WMA brochure for the area he/she will hunt this year.

“We want the hunters to know the rules, and this is the best way for them to learn them,” said John Ault, FWC regional public hunting areas biologist.

Anyone accompanying a hunter or hunting deer during a gun season must wear at least 500 square inches of blaze orange above the waist.
