We’re not going to miss the chance to share the story of Illinois-resident Gabe Hedger and his fish loving pooch, Shane. If you read People magazine, you’ve probably scooped us on this one.

It made news on People’s website because Gabe posted this photo (and others) showing him fishing with Shane, his constant companion. If you don’t think they’re constant companions, consider the fact both of them are aboard Hedger’s kayak. Apparently, Shane rides along every time his master goes fishing.

What’s made news is the fact that in each of the photos where Gabe’s holding a fish, Shane’s making the same bug-eyed face.

We don’t know if the face is because the kayak’s getting crowded or he loves the idea of a fresh fish dinner, but the posting on Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/qnifi/his_face_every_time_i_catch_a_fish/) has gotten more than a million views.
