SB-296 by Senator Brandes is a bill to protect citizens from being disarmed and charged with a crime for carrying a weapon or firearm during a mandatory evacuation ordered by the Governor during a declared state of emergency.  To read this bill, click here.

When you’re ordered to take your family and leave your home and belongings behind, you should not be deprived of the ability to protect yourself and your family.  This bill is especially important for law-abiding people in a state that is prone to evacuations due to hurricanes.

SB-1060 by Senator Evers is a bill to stop some of the unbelievable actions by school administrators against children who behave like children and point fingers at each other pretending to shoot guns or draw pictures of guns or wear t-shirts with pictures of guns, etc.  To read this bill, click here.
