FWC reopens another section of road in Corbett WMA

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has reopened a section of road within the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Palm Beach County. Effective immediately, vehicles are permitted on the South Grade from L Camp south to the Tomato Field Grade. However, vehicles are still prohibited on the South Grade from Tomato Field Grade to N Camp.

The FWC will continue to monitor road conditions daily and will reopen the remaining sections of closed road as conditions allow.

In addition to the road closure, the FWC continues to reroute access to the south entrance of Corbett WMA. The public can access the WMA from 120th Street North/Halptiokee Road. This road runs along the C-18 Canal, with entry via the Bee Line Highway/710.

The entrance road has been temporarily rerouted to allow public access to the WMA while a section of Seminole Pratt-Whitney Road from 100th Lane North to the south entrance of Corbett is closed. People using the temporary entrance should not park their vehicles on private lands. They should park within the boundaries of the WMA.
