FWC seeks help in search for missing family
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and partner agencies are currently searching for a missing family of five in the Florida Everglades ecosystem. The search is focused around the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area, located in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
The family consists of two adults and three children. FWC Officers began searching for the family yesterday and have ramped up efforts today.
If you are in and around this area today, please keep an eye out for the missing family. They are in a camouflaged airboat which will likely be difficult to see.
If you have any information regarding the search, please contact 911 or the FWC at the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC.
