The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is pleased to offer two new limited entry spring turkey hunts at the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge, located in Immokalee, Fla. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is teaming up with the USFWS to issue 15 limited entry quota permits for each of the following hunts: March 12-13 and March 26-27. This application period is occurring outside of the normal cycle to allow hunting opportunity during the 2022 hunt season. In 2023, the application period for this hunt will coincide with the normal limited entry/quota hunt application period for spring turkey.
The phase I application period for these permits begins Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. EST and runs through Feb. 21 at 11:59 p.m. EST. You can apply at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com or by completing an application worksheet and presenting it to any license agent or tax collector's office.
